Training
Healing training will open up a whole new exciting adventure of freedom, growth and unity for your group.
Group training is action oriented. Teaching is interspersed with practice in an informal, personal atmosphere. We encourage attendees to come willing to practice and receive ministry. If you are interested, we suggest you contact us with your questions.
Once you are satisfied that you want to pursue this direction, we can jointly tailor training to the needs and time available for your group.
Conventional Thinking
We tend to vacillate between wanting people to “straighten up” or hoping they will somehow have a breakthrough if we offer enough acceptance, love and mercy. These approaches fall short. Jesus died for us because we couldn’t save ourselves. Neither can we make ourselves into what God wants us to be. We need help.
Timing
God loves us so much he doesn’t want to leave us the way we are. When the disciples couldn’t heal the boy with seizures, Jesus didn’t tell them to wait on God’s timing. He said, "O unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you?” He was impatient for them to become conduits of God’s power.
Experience has taught us that God is ready for action now. What an amazing paradigm shift!
Location
We offer ministry training at our home base near Traverse City, Michigan. Arrangements vary according to group size and budget. We can also bring training to your group, church or organization.
Northwest Lower Michigan is a wonderful area to rest and recuperate physically while you are learning and renewing your heart. The area features beautiful lakes, rivers, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, Lake Michigan, Interlochen Center for the Arts, the National Cherry Festival and much more.
Popular activities include a day at the beach, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, skiing, snowmobiling, color tours and hunting. Wish you were here!
Real Power for Change
Churches may be strong on salvation or hope of life after death, but what about life in between? The statistics on divorce and pornography addiction in the Church are dismal. Where is the power for us to be changed as Jesus promised?
We have found that the Holy Spirit truly is the Counselor as Jesus said. He leads us into the truth, and as we obey, his truth has the power to transform our lives. Then we can fulfill our calling as a the Body of Christ to heal the broken-hearted and set the captives free.
